Potato Farming

Majority of the women we work with are small scale arable farmers who primarily grow potatoes for sale. In order to help them minimize their costs of production, improve their yields and grow their markets, we organize training seminars with local agricultural officers who teach them how to produce better quality and higher yields of this staple product.

Table Banking

We use table banking to help single mothers harness their personal resources by pooling them together for their mutual benefit and empowerment. To date, this activity has seen the capital base within various groups increase, allowing of them to engage in a wide range of personal activities like borrowing to pay for their children’s school fees and professional activities like farming.
