The Journey through Motherhood shouldn’t be walked alone
Our mission is to support new and expecting single moms from marginalized, low income and newcomer communities in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area, with quality baby products and items that will enable them and their baby to have a great start and will place value and dignity on mothers during one of the most vulnerable times of her life.
Through partnering with a range of community organizations, social workers, major hospitals, clinics, shelters and community health centers this project will work to ensure that no mother delivers a baby in our communities without having the basic baby essentials for herself and her baby during the first few weeks of her newborn’s life.
Our new born packs include:
babygrows, vests, beanies, blankets, socks, mittens, diapers, wet wipes, bum cream, aqueous cream, baby soap, towel, face cloth, cotton wool, simple nappy bag, maternity sanitary pads and breast pads.
How you can help:
Donate new and pre-loved baby items: such as clothing, blankets, diapers, wipes, bum cream etc
Donate financially: Your monetary donation makes such a difference in the lives of vulnerable mothers and their babies. Click here to donate.
Use your skills: Knit, crochet or sew beanies, jerseys, booties or blankets. Blankets may also be cut from fleece blanket material (75cmx100cm).
