ABOUT
NELOSHAN
Neloshan empowers women-headed households and vulnerable youth with the tools, support, and guidance to build independent, resilient, and thriving futures.
MISSION & HISTORY.
Neloshan International, is a Canadian Non-Profit and Charitable Organization with a God-given mandate to improve the wellbeing of single mothers in Kenya and around the world. Through various initiatives, we empower single mothers with economic skills that enable them to fight poverty and become financially independent, while providing spiritual guidance and emotional support.
We were founded in response to the realities of women and youth facing hardship, exclusion, and psychosocial challenges—grounded in lived experience and a Christian belief that dignity, opportunity, and hope belong to everyone. We see women, especially single mothers, not as recipients of aid, but as leaders and changemakers in their families and communities.
Our mission is to partner with sole support mothers and their families to break intergenerational cycles of poverty through spiritual, economic and social support.
We envision a world where women and youth live free from poverty, violence, and exclusion, and where they are economically empowered, socially included, emotionally resilient, and spiritually grounded.
The organization was founded by Immaculate Neema Njeru who has been a single mother for over 35 years. Her passion is to impart hope to other single mothers that there is hope for a brighter future.

Empowerment.
